“As an organisation, we have sponsored the Creative and Advertising Awards for more than 10 years.
The Big Chip Awards were a diversification for us as we started to embrace the digital marketplace 3 years ago. It’s a little different that’s for sure – there are fewer fights and everyone’s younger!
On a serious note they appear to be far more integrated than the other awards we work with and they have an excellent cross section of entrants and attendees. It really does feel like it represents the digital community – not just the companies but the educators, the freelancers, the allied organisations and local public sector.
They really do champion the Northwest digital community as a whole and they do a great job of it. They are also far larger then any other comparable awards in the regions. I’m looking forward to the new venue, although its a little Titanic in its size and presentation – and the bar staff will have to be considerably better than last years!”
This blog is a conversation, a collaboration and an engagement. It is an open invitation for you to talk about what the Big Chip Awards mean to you, in the past, absolutely right now and in the future. The blog will evolve as we or you choose it to. Let us know what you want.
