We at Northwest Vision and Media are delighted to be sponsoring the Big Chip Awards for the second year running and wish all the short listed companies the very best of luck.

Northwest Vision and Media works on behalf of the digital and creative industries in the Northwest to grow a world-class digital and creative economy within the region.

The digital industry is one of the fastest growing sectors in the country, and here in the Northwest we’re determined to help our digital production companies to thrive. As the region’s digital networks expand, we’re committed to supporting, developing and promoting their key areas of activity in every way we can and the Big Chip Awards is an ideal way to show our support.

We are excited that one of our colleagues, Enda Carey, Head of Games and Digital Content at Northwest Vision and Media was invited to join this year’s judging panel.  Along with the rest of the judges, Enda was very impressed with the quality and number of entries this year and it’s no wonder the panel took longer than expected to shortlist.

Big Chip truly is a regional awards ceremony and it’s fantastic that so many companies from across the region have taken part and some short-listed.

There are 58 companies on the shortlist with seven companies coming from Lancashire, 11 from Liverpool, three from Cheshire and 28 from Greater Manchester.

The digital industry has continued to grow, despite the current economic climate and awards like Big Chip not only celebrates the best the region has to offer, but also brings them together in one room to network with like minded individuals.
