Anyone wanting to participate in the live video streaming from the Big Chip Awards tonight please join the Big Chip 11 event on Qik and your videos will be streamed live to the Qik event group and right here on the Big Chip Awards blog.
If you want to install Qik simply go to the Qik website and sign up, there are detailed instructions on how to install on your phone Qik as part of the sign up process.

12 Jun 2009If you’ve never been to the Big Chip award evening and have no idea what it’s all about, here is our pocketsized guide to one of the most important nights in the Manchester digital calendar.
1. You don’t have to be shortlisted for an award or even have entered, to attend.
2. Single tickets are available – you don’t need to buy a whole table (there’s a gag somewhere in there).
3. It aint that posh – dress ‘code’ is “dress to impress” but no, you don’t have to wear a penguin suit if that’s not your thing.
